Bernard T. Duffy, 96, of Rouses Point passed away Monday, October 23, 2023 at his home with family by his side. Born December 23, 1926, he was the son of the late Francis and Melvina (Baylake) Duffy.

He married Eve Manley on May 30, 1959 at Saint Patrick's Church in Rouses Point, NY.

Bernard graduated from Saint Michael's College. He retired from the Food and Drug Administration in 1987. Bernard loved sports - professional, semi-pro, college and high school. He was affixed at his children's sporting events. He was unsuccessful in getting his children interested in chess, although they all share his enthusiasm for cards and dominos. With Eve, he spent many exciting hours at Turning Stone and Akwasasne.

Bernard returned to Rouses Point after his professional career to be near his siblings after assignments in Massachuesetts, Connecticut, and Syracuse, NY.

He was a member of the American Legion, and was devoted to the church, the Knights of Columbus, and Right to Life.

Bernard is survived by his wife Eve, as well as his children Sheila, Maureen, Maria and Matthew, his grandchildren Jeremy, Andrew, Megan and Carson, and great-grandchildren Ivy and August.

Including his parents, Bernard was predeceased by his grandchild Kristin.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to Kim Parrott, Carol Shannon, Barbara Pease, and the neighbors on Rose Avenue.

Calling hours will be held at M. B. Clark Funeral Home in Rouses Point on Friday, October 27, 2023 from 5-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Patrick's Church in Rouses Point on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Burial will immediately follow Mass at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
