There is a special place in my heart for Aunt Rita. She was good, and kind, and generous, and my Godmother. The last of the Demers siblings. My daughter commented when she saw the obituary picture that Aunt Rita looks very much like my mother, Rita's sister. And she's 100% right. She absolutely does, and that makes me happy and proud. How lucky am I to have had these two very special women in my life. I will cherish the happy years with Aunt Rita and Mom, and this will make me smile through my tears. Thank you, Aunt Rita, thank you for the happy memories.
