Ann (McGary) Bechard, 81, of Champlain, NY, passed away at UVM-CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh, NY, on December 24, 2023. Ann was born on September 2, 1942, daughter of the late Bhurley and Beulah (Haywood) McGary.

In her younger years, she graduated from Appalachian State University and pursued teaching before settling down as a dedicated and loving wife, mother, and homemaker. She enjoyed a great deal of things including traveling, flea markets, and spending time with those closest to her.

Ann was predeceased by her husband of thirty-six years, Marius John Bechard, her parents, and son, Kevin Sink.

She is survived by her sons, David (Margaret) Sink and Allen Fortier, and daughter, Mary (Ian) Jones. She is also survived by stepchildren Deborah (Marcel) Poirier, Daniel (Mary) Bechard, Tammy (Robert) Favro, and several grand-children and great grand-children.

Services will be held at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Coopersville, NY in the Spring. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Daughters of the Charity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, 226 Grove Street, Littleton, NH 03561.
