Dmitry you will be missed. You had such a big heart, he was everyone's friend, were always willing to help in any way you could. I didn't know you well but i still felt i knew you, that you were a friend. You took my books to the Keene Market when you took your Bulgarian food to sell there. thank you. Dmitry with Steve and Pat Lucas in Utica , NY .
Steve and Dmitry would drive to Utica so that Dmitry could purchase all of his favorite foods and treats from the Polish-Ukrainian specialty stores .
It was a fun adventure!
They would do this road trip in a day and the car would be filled with coolers full of food that would show up at the next international food extravaganza at his home❤️

I first met Dmitry at the fund raiser at the St. Agnes School,4/8/22. I told him I was raised in a Polish neighborhood in Utica. and am a 2sd. generation Pole. The Ukrarians had a small wooden Church a few streets away and many of the children also attended the Catholic school with me. I remember how proud he was of the Ukrainian Team during the recent University Games. He always wore a big smile and was so positive. He will always be rememberd, and may he rest in peace.

Dmitry was the "Go To GUY" when we were building the Shipman Youth Center. What ever we needed he got donated. Dmitry was always helpful, with a smile and THANKED Everybody for their effort. Never took credit for his support.
His contribution toward the long term success of the youth center is immeasurable. He organized several local contractors to renovate the center, recruited the Kansas City BBQ which provided much needed financial support to the center, just to name a few. It is amazing that his list of Contributions is so long and his ability to get others to help was tremendous. He came to the Lake Placid Rotary every year, told us he as a poor Russian Immigrant and solicited our support. He always THANKED us for our past support.

God only made one Dmitry and we were so blessed to have him here in Lake Placid.
Dmitry was a friend to everyone he met. A truly special man, he spread love and cheer wherever he went.
