Volunteered with Miss Bon at our Lake Placid Community Lunch Program on Wednesdays at the Adirondack Community Church. She always had a smile and a cheerful word when she spoke with you. She worked in the kitchen as recently as this past Wednesday,May 15th. What a wonderful example of the true volunteer spirit she had for her community. She enjoyed the meals, had of fun checking the desserts, and being of help clearing tables and setting places. Not too many people volunteer for kitchen duty, but Miss Bon did! She was an amazing lady. We miss you already.
