We saw Pam and John two summers ago for lunch in Saranac Lake.
It was a delightful luncheon were we caught up and all agreed it had been too long. We voted for ice cream afterwards at Mountain Mist and ate our cones while enjoying a view of all of the boats that were moored at the dock. Pam exclaimed to John that she always wanted to get one of those pontoon boats to sail gently up and down the lake. We hope that Pam's wishes have come true in heaven and that she is at peace now. We loved you Pam and you will be missed. Love, your Canadian friends Brian & Terry.

I am so sorry to see this obituary today. Pam was my first manager as a new nurse in dialysis at AMC. She took me in as a new nurse into a specialty unit with no experience telling me “you don't have any bad habits coming to us that we need to break”. I had been told in school you only get hired in specialized areas after working med surg for 2-3 years. Pam took a chance on me and I could not have been more grateful. She was so kind. Fair. A great mentor. I have always held her in high regard. I had the pleasure of bumping into her at Blue Moon Cafe last summer with my friend Kim Shene, also a nurse. We had a great visit. I will cherish that memory. My sympathies to her husband and family. She was a wonderful lady.

John and family - I was so sad to learn of Pam's passing! Our connection was corgis and I loved seeing her at various shows. She'll always be a special person in my eyes - caring, fun, loving and a wonderful dog person. She'll be missed.

I was so sad to hear the news of Pam’s death.I had the privilege of working in the dialysis unit at Adirondack Health with Pam being the nurse manager. She was wonderful in that role. Always cheerful, efficient and supportive. She appreciated her staff. She often left notes of encouragement in our staff boxes after a hard day. She was so missed when she retired.
