Nancy was one of those people who could make you feel like a million dollars just by being in the room with you. I met her when I was in 7th grade (she was in 8th), and she soon became one of my closest friends. She was always there with a good word, a fun suggestion and a warm smile, and could slip effortlessly into the role of mentor when she sensed that I needed one - without making me feel like I needed one. Lovingkindness and inner and outer beauty were her natural gifts, and she shared them with everyone around her. My deepest condolences to all her family and friends; she will be sorely missed.

We are heart broken to learn that our dear friend and earthly angel, Nancy, has left us to join the heavenly angels. I regarded Nancy as one of my best friends while I lived in Lake Placid in 7th and 8th grade. Like Matt Clark above, Nancy was one person I always had to see when making my return trips to LP. And when I had children of my own, I also wanted to introduce my girls to her. I have a picture of her outside the library when my oldest was just 22 months and I was pregnant with my youngest. I am thankful that I was able to introduce them again to her in 2009--on her last day at St. Agnes. Our deepest condolence's to the Berger and Morelli families, especially her children, Sophia and Mickey--Nancy's dreams come true. We pray that you all find comfort in knowing that Nancy now rests in the sweetest of peace in God's loving embrace. Love, Chris, Mitzi, Shannon, and Devon

Oh I am so very sad to hear the news of Nancy. She was such a beautiful person and added a special touch to this world. I had the honor of seeing her daughter in the school play this past winter... I felt I was back in high school again, seeing Nancy's mannerisms and expressions captured in her child. My heart is heavy and sad with this loss.

Oh so sad..a great memory of mine was back in 11th grade, 1980, Nancy worked in the bakery across from the Olympic oval and she was invited out to dinner by a couple of Korean speed skaters. She asked me to go and all I remember was how we just giggled and laughed cuz we didn't understand their language, but thanks to Nancy I will always have that great memory, she was so sweet and fun to be with. Thoughts are with her family, we all loved Nancy.
