I'm so sorry I wasn't there for Mona's service; I just learned about her passing. We taught together for many of Mona's years at LPES and I can't imagine the school without her. She was a wonderful, supportive colleague and a fun friend. I am so very sorry and I send my sympathies to her family on this awful loss.

Mona was in my life every day from grade 1-8 at St. Agnes. We endured the nuns together. I have fond memories of her and also all the Dixon girls at the beach. So sorry for your loss.

Growing up in Lake Placid and being "great" friends with Amy, I remember Mona so fondly. The picture captures Mona so well. Her laugh, spirit, fun, fun nature and overall kindness to me is how I will always remember Mona. To the entire Dixon family and especially Amy, I am so sorry. Miss and love everyone. My heart goes out to Mona's family. Although I haven't seen her since high school memories of her will always be with me. Her personality would light up a room. I am deeply saddened by this loss.

I haven't known Mona for long, and that disappoints me... we hit it off right from the first day I went into her hospital room to tend to her. and we realized we knew some of the same people... I loved Monas spirit. we shared many stories. I wish I would have known her when she was healthy. our plan was always to get her back home to jack. I am so sorry that didn't happen but also thankful I was with her when she passed so peacefully. to her family I thank you for sharing her with me. she was a beautiful person with a beautiful spirit... I wont be able to share in the services with you but know you are all in my thaughts and prayers.JUDY
