Your journey is over
You've come to the end
A long life behind you
My dearest of friends.
Our love is forever
Of this I am sure
God's arms now embrace you
With your heart so pure.
I LOVE YOU MOM.

To my dearest mother-in-law, my rock, my inspiration, my mentor. From the birth of our first child when I was so young, you guided me, taught me and advised me on the proper way to care for my children. You held them in your comforting arms when they were ill, you tended to them when they were injured and you welcomed them into your home for overnight visits which they enjoyed so much. You loved me and treated me as your own child. I feel fortunate, blessed and privileged to have been able to love and care for you during your remaining years with us. I will miss helping you get dressed, getting you ready for bed at night, combing your hair or just sitting, laughing and visiting with you. I thank the dear Lord that he granted me the honor to be hugging you and holding your hand in your final hour. I will miss you and the lessons of love and caring you taught me will remain as I keep you close in my heart. God bless and keep you in the palm of his hand.

My dearest loving mother has left this world to be with the Lord. The love I have for her remains deeply embedded in my heart and will do so all the days of my life. I already miss her so very much and the intensity of hurt and pain is almost unbearable. My one consolation is that I know without a doubt, that she is with the Lord and has more happiness now than I could ever provide her. I will do my best to follow the example's and lessons she taught me during her journey in this world. I was indeed blessed to have such a wonderful loving mother and I thank the Father almighty for making that happen. Mom, you will be missed but your memories will never fade from my heart, mind and soul where they are etched so deeply. Goodbye mother and be at peace with the Lord until we may be untied once again.
