I met Kevin the first year Edward went to school in Buffalo. I knew then they would bff.
He met his match in story telling and I said the best was yet to come if he came to Shiningtree.
Well, the rest is history, after he got hooked in Northern Ontario. I will really miss the laughter and commoradory we shared the times I crashed the camp party.

I met you once, many years ago. You were quite a character...charming, friendly, funny, and well-loved by your campers. I hope you are at peace and that your family is able to find some, too.

I met Kevin almost 20 years ago when we were both working at the Falk School. Because we both shared a passion for hunting & fishing, we connected immediately and embarked on outdoor adventures together every chance we could. Not long after we met, I took him to my camp in Shining Tree, ON where he met my family & friends from back home and instantly bonded with all of them. They remain his family & friends to this day. That was the guy he was. You couldn't help but love his laughter, sense of humor and especially his camp antics. Everyone enjoyed hanging out by the campfire shooting the bull with him after a day of chasing fish or game. Lynn always said that she loved the way that I would light up whenever we got together, but I know that he had this affect on all of the lives that he touched. We are so very grateful that our family's life is filled with countless unforgettable days with "Mr. Kevin". We will cherish these moments always. Kev, you will always be a brother to me and Lynn, an uncle to my girls, and a legend to your hunting & fishing buddies in the ADK, WNY and Northern Ont. We love ya, man!!!

Kevin was a good man, a good friend, and someone I can say I was proud to have had the honor of knowing.

I got to know Kevin fairly well in the last couple years, mostly through fishing and wild mushroom hunting with my friend Matt and his Saranac Lake crew. Not long after first meeting Kevin I felt that he fit right in with our group of friends, sharing a love of the outdoors, a laid back demeanor and most importantly a common sense of humor. I felt almost as if I had known him longer and we could have been old friends. I'll miss his presence and lightheartedness he would have lent to many future adventures.
