Obituary of Kevin Indzonka Conly

Kevin I. Conly, age 49, of Jay, NY passed away suddenly and unexpectedly Sunday, January 31, 2016 at his home in Jay. Mr. Conly was born September 27, 1966 in Newburgh, NY the son of Alan R. and Marjorie (Indzonka) Conly. Kevin was a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy and Cortland State College. Kevin had worked in the Buffalo and Lake Placid area for many years. Kevin had a great sense of humor and enjoyed his many outdoor activities; He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Kevin had many friends in the Buffalo and Lake Placid area. Kevin had worked at Genesee Valley Rotary Camp and was loved by his camp family, especially the children. He was known by his camp family as "Mr. Felix", Feel-Dog", or the dreaded "Duct Tape Bandit", he was a guided spirit at camp. A legend. One who touched and influenced us all in so many ways. He was camp and his presence will be felt there forever. "If you knew when and where a miracle was going to happen, wouldn't you want to be there ?" – Mr. Felix He is survived by his father Alan and mother Marjorie Conly; one sister, Catherine Giandurco and her husband Jeffrey; one brother, Tim Conly and his wife Melanie and three nieces and nephews, Jillian and Jeffrey Giandurco and Caitlin Conly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Lake Placid, NY on Saturday, February 6th at 2:30 PM. Fr. John Yonkovig will officiate. A reception will follow at a place to be announced. The M. B. Clark, Inc. Funeral Home in Lake Placid, NY is in charge of arrangements. A Prayer Service and burial will be held in Newburgh, NY. The services in Newburgh, NY will be held at Doulin-Newburgh Funeral Home, Inc., 318 N. Montgomery St., Newburgh, NY.
