I had early contact with Silva in the late 50s and 60s as she was a classmate and great friend of my oldest brother and she was also a cousin of my classmate/friend, Tom. She certainly made a presence in any room she entered. She was kind, humorous, intelligent and full of joy. She was a generous, gentle soul. Condolences to all the family, friends, and the community who loved her. I feel honored to have known her. Peace.
