So sorry to hear about Hal. He was a dear friend of my husband, Ted Stratford. He was always a joy to be around. I remember in particular he took us for a helicopter ride (which I will never forget). Heartfelt prayers for you and your family.

We send our heartfelt sympathy for the loss of Harold. My husband speaks of the very special times they both shared, during the Rotary days. He said that Harold had a great love of life, and was so much fun to be with. He will be missed greatly.

Dear Nancy and Family, Living out of state, I am sorry I could not attend services today. Our dad Scott, considered Harold his longest life-long friend, often telling of his first day of 1st grade, meeting on the way home... thereafter always stopping at the Lennon home on his way home. Through their years together at SLU, Army Reserves, and Rotary, I know he considered both Harold and Rit the brothers he never had. I'll always remember Harold's smiling face and hearty laugh. My deepest condolences.

My name is Victor Tollerton, and in the late 1960’s, I worked at Lennon’s Jewelry Store. Often I was asked to run items from Lennon’s to W. B. Wilcox-Lennon’s and back again. I remember fondly Mr. Lennon. He always had kind words for his employees and customers. He will be missed greatly. I will not be able to attend the service on Saturday because I’m ill, but will be praying for the family.
