I first met Bob in Jan 1963 when I went to work as a radio operator at SP Malone where Bob was stationed as the troop B clerk. I then went into the uniform force in March 1967 when Bob was the troop headquarters station commander - I was part of the headquarters patrol from Jan 1968 until Bob retired in 1977 - I well remember Gary and his sister Bobbi as well as their mother Marie. I want to tell you what a wonderful man Bob was to all of us. We all loved him very much. He was such a good boss to us all. I seen Bob in the summer of 2011 in Malone at a retired troopers meeting and was amazed at how little he changed in the 30 year's since I had last seen him. He was such an inspiration for all of us. Gone but not forgotten. I'd like to think that I'm a better person because of your father.
