We are so sorry for your loss, Glenna will be missed by all who knew and loved her. We visited as soon as we moved here from California, last July. We had a nice visit at her home. Grateful for many many years of friendship.

Very sorry for your loss. I hope you can find some comfort from the words at Psalms 147:3 that says; "He is healing the broken hearted ones and is binding up their painful spots." God as the hearer of prayer will comfort you in the days ahead as you remember Ms. Durkin. Please take a look at this short video that gives us hope for the future. https://www.jw.org/en/publications/videos/#en/mediaitems/VODMinistryTools/pub-imv_4_VIDEO

Dear Abby and Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you celebrate Glenna. She was such a good 'mommy' to you and you kept her very good company in these past years. We often spent more time talking 'cat' then any other topic but also found time for tea, dinners, rides to the LP landfill in between pulling weeds, planting flowers, mowing and shoveling when I lived with the Frances. Glenna made Essex street a special place and in our hearts she will be forever for everyone she met was greeted with that precious and beautiful smile and spirit. Her gifts of knitting for those less fortunate and her get up and go will be remembered as well. One of the kindest ladies I have been blessed by. Rest in peace and Abby, 'you done good' keeping our gal going these past years.
