Donna L. Racine (Mim), 87, passed away on January 27, 2021. She was born October 27, 1933 in Plattsburgh, New York.She was a dedicated teacher and village historian. She touched many lives through her love of history and her passion for teaching. Donna always felt that her greatest accomplishment was her family. She loved reading, refurbishing doll houses, was an avid collector, and had exceptional talent for story-telling. Donna is survived by her four children: Sharron (Bryan) Anctil, Rochelle Racine Kraynak, Lisa (Henry) Gauthier and Brandon (Amanda) Racine. She has ten grandchildren: Nathan, Nathalie, Barry, Amber, Jesse, Nicholas, Jonathan, Jeremy, Adam and Ivory, and twenty-six great grandchildren. Donna also has much more family and many friends that will be missing her. Donna is predeceased by her husband Alfred Racine, Jr., her parents Harold and Alma (Girouard) Laundrie and her grandson Aaron James Babbie. This is Donna’s time to say goodbye. Calling hours will be held at M. B. Clark Funeral Home in Rouses Point on Friday, January 29, 2021 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Patrick’s Church in Rouses Point at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 30, 2021. Masks are required.
