While living and working in Washington DC, David Rose and I had a vacation home in the village of Lake Placid, NY that John looked after. His stewardship of our home was excellent. No matter the severity of the storm or the depth of the snow John always had the home plowed out, shoveled out, and the roof cleared. John Roach was a truly kind man whose spirit was on an eternal search for peace. When in Lake Place on every Sunday morning I would always see John at Saint Agnes Church. John would always talk about his family - Kim and the girls. They were the center of his universe. My prayer for him is that he is now blessed with peace. John D. Kristoff, Tampa FL
