Obituary of John F. Roach, Jr.

John F Roach Jr, 58, of Vermontville, died Friday May 14, 2021 after a lengthy Illness. John was the first born to John F and Patricia (Ryan) Roach on July 28, 1962 in Plattsburgh NY. John was a member of Peru Central School class of 1980 and graduated from North Country Community College. John spent his career in service to others. In his younger years he worked around the country in hospitality sharing his charm and winning smile with many who became life-long friends. Being tall, trim and handsome didn't hurt. Finally settling in Lake Placid in the early 90's, John operated his own property management business meticulously attending to the properties of his customers. Survived include his cherished daughters Emma Roach of Lake Placid and Kaylee Willette of Tupper Lake; his former wife and dedicated friend Kim Vespa; his step mother Mary Roach his siblings James Roach, Kathleen Roach, Eileen Roach, Kevin Keefe, Patrick Keefe, Doreen Cornell and Donna Dick, his beloved Aunt Ellie Douglas. Numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members John was predeceased by his parents and a brother Dan Keefe. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 26th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the M. B. Clark, Inc. Funeral Home in Lake Placid, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 27th at 10:00 AM at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Lake placid, NY. Rev. John Yonkovig will officiate. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
