Dale William Bath, age 84, of Liberty Hill, lane, Lake placid, NY passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake, NY. Mr. Bath was born August 7, 1936 in Harrisburg, PA the son of Wilbert and Gladys (Fritz) Bath.
Dale was a graduate of Moravian College in Pennsylvania and New York University Medical Center. He served in the United States Army as a laboratory specialist during the Vietnam War era from 1959 to 1965. He worked at NY University Research Center, Tuxedo, NY as Hudson River Fisheries Biologist from 1963 to 1982. Dale was employed by ALSC-Adirondack Lake Survey Corp, Ray Brook, NY as a(n) Fisheries Biologist from 1983 to December 3, 2003 studying the effects of acid rain on the local lakes, ponds and waterways.
Dale is survived by his wife Sybil J. (Jayne) Bath; Mark Bath and his wife Lisa, Laurie Bath, Robin Laybourne and her husband Chris and Debbie Bombard.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, June 15 at Adirondack Community Church, 2583 Main Street, Lake Placid, NY with Rev. Derek Hansen officiating. Burial will follow in North Elba Cemetery, Lake Placid, NY.
