I worked on and off with Forrest on the Adirondack scenic railroad over many years. There was nothing he couldn’t repair or fix. I was with him when he engineered the locomotive after becoming an engineer at the age of 79.
There wasn’t a mean bone in his body.
I had many really wonderful conversations with him after we both retired from the railroad. I always knew he was a special man and I truly will miss his friendship. Kingst
