I got to know Roger pretty well first at the hatchery then as we travelled through his medical care for many years. He had some major health victories of which he was justifiably proud. I think that he enjoyed our relationship as much as I did. We could weave humor into some pretty serious stuff. It has been a privilege to have been a part of his life. I am deeply thankful for the honor of his trust. He is high on a long list of folks that I miss dearly since retiring.

Fortunate enough to have worked with Roger at the fish hatchery. Of the many co-workers and bosses I have had over the years, Roger was at the top of the list. A great person that was always concerned about those around him. He will be missed. I will always have fond memories of times spent with Roger. Wishing you all fond memories. Regards.

hi debbie, it's the old story of " gee, i just saw or spoke to so and so the other day". i'm sorry for your loss and am sad that a guy i knew and liked so much is gone. what a wit roger was and such a great attitude about life. as usual we all have our memories to sustain us. tom kilroy
